(6.30pm, 20 September 2013, Martin Place Amphitheatre)
Each year it brings art out of the gallery and into City streets and parks, giving everyone the chance to see our City with new eyes. This year we share Sydney's secrets through our theme Private Lives… Public Places.
Snailovation by Italy's The Cracking Art Group will see 24 gigantic neon snails slither into some of Sydney's most familiar public spaces, including here at Martin Place, Hyde Park and Customs House Square.
The much-loved Sydney Life exhibition has a new home at the St James entry to Hyde Park North.
This year, there's an amazing mirror installation in Hyde Park called Field by Auckland's Out of the Dark - 81 mirrored posts that will create ever-changing scenes and be illuminated at night.
Three of our inner-city playgrounds will be brought to life in SPILL by Shaun Parker and Company, with 30-minute dance performances blending story-telling and music with street dance and physical expression. The performers will also offer free dance workshops for spectators after each performance.
There is plenty more for you to discover, including jewellery exhibitions, interactive installations and sculpture walks.
So a very big thank-you to all the artists who enrich our lives and our City; thank you also to the sponsors and event partners, to the curators and our City staff and everyone involved in creating this festival.
It's an annual delight for everyone in Sydney.
