Grants for the local community17 August 2012
The NSW Government’s Community Building Partnership program will run again in 2012, offering capital funds for local groups to build and improve community facilities.
Each State electorate has $200,000 available and local MPs are asked to provide advice about priorities. Applications open 27 August until 30 October. I encourage non-profit organisations to consider applying.
Current funding programs open include small grants for local Seniors Week projects, to encourage sporting activities and participation, to support artists and artist managers develop export opportunities, NRMA road safety grants, and Multicultural Advantage Grants Program.
The NSW Government Community Builders website has a comprehensive listing of funding sources and information about writing submissions.
