The Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority (SHFA) is consulting on the Bays Precinct , the area around Glebe Island, White Bay, White Bay Power Station, Rozelle Bay, Rozelle Rail Yards and Blackwattle Bay, including the Sydney Fish Market.
SHFA is calling for feedback on draft planning principles including foreshore access, adaptive re-use of heritage, sustainable transport, passive maritime recreational opportunities, environmental sustainability and public ownership.
The 80-hectare site is a vital part of Sydney Harbour and Pyrmont and Ultimo community, and presents an opportunity to contribute to the City's Sustainable Sydney 2030 vision. I encourage you to view the draft principles, make a submission and send a copy to my electorate office. Submissions are due by 31 May.
