The City of Sydney Amendment (Central Sydney Traffic and Transport Committee) Bill 2012 unnecessarily creates another State and City committee to make traffic and transport decisions for the CBD.

I was able to secure two amendments to the Government’s original Bill – that meetings have to be open to the public and that routine maintenance does not have to be referred to the committee.
