We received some terrific photographs in our Love Surry Hills competition - but we need your help to pick the winner. More than 130 people entered the competition, having taken their cameras out on the streets of Surry Hills.
People captured many of the different aspects of Surry Hills - plenty of cats and dogs, but also laneways, bikes and the rich history of this area.
Judges had a hard time choosing the finalists from such a great field. The top 10 are now online at lovesurryhills.com.au and at Surry Hills Neighbourhood Centre until the end of July.
The City of Sydney worked with local businesses to support the competition and promote the area's boutique shopping, cafes, restaurants and bars. Help us pick the winner - first prize gets a $750 shopping-spree in Surry Hills.
The 10 finalists are:
Breda Farrell - A Sunny Spot in Surry Hills
Tim Rigg - Dude with Dog
Andrew McInnes - Dusk
Corey Madden - I just tried to catch some fog. I mist
Cibele Oliviera - Lifestyle
Jamie Grant - Surry Hills Dog
Maya Vidulich - Window Shopping
Catherine Madafferi - Colourful Surry Hills
Craig Barbour - Early Morning Ride
Amanda Mason - Past and Present
The winner will be announced in August.
