Sydney's littlest photographers have demonstrated talent comes in small packages, with twenty finalists selected from 150 entries for the 2014 Little Sydney Lives exhibition and prize.
One of the main events of our annual Art & About festival, Little Sydney Lives is celebrating its fourth year and has fast become a favourite exhibition among the people of Sydney.
It offers us a unique insight into how children see our city and their charming take on Sydney life and proves that art is for everyone no matter their size or age.
Art & About is all about using our city's streets and public spaces as a canvas for artists and performers to showcase their colour and creativity. Little Sydney Lives offers a wonderful opportunity for Australia's future photographers to share their own interpretation of Sydney.
Finalists are vying for $1,000 in prizes and will have the honour of having their photo blown up and displayed in Sandringham Gardens, Hyde Park North, during Art & About Sydney from 19 September to 12 October.
Winners of Little Sydney Lives in both the 3-7 and 8-11 categories and the Australian Life $10,000 prize winner will be announced at Art & About Sydney's free, public launch party in Martin Place on Friday 19 September.
