On Sunday 30 October the annual Seven Bridges walk will be held - the event is a walking celebration to raise money for the Cancer Council NSW.
The walk is 27 kilometre loop that travels through seven 'event' villages and across seven bridges throughout Sydney. You can start at any of the villages and walk as much or little of the loop as you like. There will be food, music and activities at each.
It's a great way to see Sydney, get some exercise and raise much needed money for cancer research. The 'events' in the villages are being held in The Rocks, Pyrmont, Rozelle, Hunters Hill, Lane Cove, Wollstonecraft and Milsons Point.
The course is open between 7.30am and 4.30pm, and you get a stamp in your '7 Bridges' passport at each event village and bridge.
The event, in its sixth year, is a great day out - don't forget to bring a hat and sunscreen!
