Alex off to flying start

The new Member for Sydney, Alex Greenwich, is off to a flying start in the NSW Parliament.

Since Alex's Inaugural speech he has asked the Education Minister about a new secondary school for the inner city, made a Private Member's Statement about protecting public housing in Millers Point and spoken in opposition to a Bill which allowed duck hunting in NSW.

He has also tabled numerous petitions and met with community groups on issues like the future of Oxford Street, marriage equality, maintaining TAFE funding, and taken part in anti-bullying and anti-violence campaigns.

Alex will continue to need your support to keep Sydney independent and progressive so please sign up to his weekly newsletter here
