The Ian Potter Children's Wild Play Garden is a new natural playground proposed for Centennial Park where children will be able to explore nature and get their hands dirty.
The garden, proposed near the Centennial Parklands Education Precinct, will be the first dedicated public children's garden in Sydney.
The Centennial Parklands Foundation has received a generous grant to kick-start its fundraising campaign and it needs to raise a further $1 million to ensure the play garden can open in 2015.
A play garden teaches children to enjoy nature. Children can learn about the natural environment and changing seasons through plants, play structures, paths and water spaces.
This will be a free and exciting space for families to explore and enjoy and I encourage you to make a donation to help this idea become a reality.
