The Hordern Pavilion is an essential venue for Sydney and we will fight to protect it 

The management of the iconic Hordern Pavilion and the neighbouring Royal Hall of Industries is changing. Beyond 2021 – just four years away – its future as a live music venue is uncertain, and could be turned into offices for sports teams.   

While the NSW Government has called for expressions of interest from venue managers, the next steps aren't clear. The Hordern has a long association with Mardi Gras, and without the Hordern, so many performers – groups too big for the Enmore Theatre, but that wouldn’t fill an arena - would stop visiting Sydney. 

We have raised the alarm on this threat to the Hordern, and it's already attracting widespread media coverage:
