Jess Miller is an advocate for liveable cities and works in community engagement, placemaking and communication strategy.
Her start as a grassroots communicator for the environment and community-led gardening set her up with the skills to do a lot on very little.
She created or co-created Grow It Local, The Garage Sale Trail, Greenups – Sydney’s sustainability drinks, the Tweed Ride, the Elizabeth Street photographic art gallery, and crowdfarming for the audience at TEDxSydney.
She has won many awards, including the Wentworth Courier’s 2010 Business Achiever Award, Sydney Morning Herald’s Top 100 Most Influential People 2012, AILA President’s Award for contribution to Landscape Architecture 2014 and Sydney Electorate Woman of the Year 2014.
Founder of Goody Two Shoes, she is a mum and dedicated cyclist.
